Hej Guys -

I don't see my octane slave when I connecting my PCs via LAN-Cable in c4d.
I tried it in the standalone app - it's working great there.

It's working via WIFI -but not when I connect the LAN cable in the c4d app.

I also switched off the firewall on the slave and master computer.

Octane + slave version: 2020.2 enterprise
c4d R 23

What's the issue here?

Hi,
everything is working correctly here with Net render and 2020.2.

If it works for you in WiFi, but it does not via Ethernet, probably you have some issues with IP address/subnet mask.
Please double check the network settings in both machines.

Instead of disabling the Firewall, please make sure to have enabled the Private Connections in Windows Firewall, for both Standalone and C4D in the Warkstation, and Standalone and daemon in the Render-Node:
