I'm trying to project a material on one side of a plane, with another on the back
I know I can do this using the Side node and Mix Texture mode (following Octane's documentation), but I want to use a base layer, with the front side on top of it
It produces a blank back to the plane:
Is there a way round this? I've tried to use an imageTexture node with alpha set, but that didn't work either:
I've attached my C4D file in case anyone wants to take a look
1 sided projection

Hi,
you are working with two different materials
There are two ways:
1. Transform both materials into submaterials: then copy one of the in the other one and connect the submaterial to the new Composite material created, using the Side node in the Mask: 2. Add a Diffuse Layer to one of the material, and use the Side node in the Mask: Here is the scene, on the left the Composite Material version, on the right the Layered Material version: ciao Beppe
