Sometimes light pass wont calculate. The object tag is on the object i want it to affect. I set the light ID to "8" and checked "8" on the object tag. Wont work. Im trying to be productive and push through timelines and due dates and i have to fight with this type of issue.
Anyone know why this could be happening?

Im guessing if you have an octane object tag on a null to affect geo within that null, you'll get inconsistent results. This means that you have to put an object tag on every single piece of geo that might make up a complex object that lives within a null. Im hoping im wrong because that would be tedious. But at the moment, if i want to get the light pass to work, thats what i have to do.
Anyone know how to get around this?

What does mean that's not working? What are you using for lighting? Putting a sample scene to show your issue that's best.
