Hi Tugpsx,
Here is how my character Miho's teeth and gum looks in different lighting : Part of my trick is to add a invisible reflector (a simple rectangle) just in front of the teeth. I anchor this to the Lower Jaw of the character so that is always stays in place while I pose the character / change expression. Just turn off the Octane Camera Visibility and Shadow Visibility The Teeth Reflector is a simple Diffuse material. You can control the amount of light reflected back into the teeth by changing the Diffuse value. The Teeth Material is also very simple. It is basically a pure white glossy material with a specular layer added to add some reflection and with Bump set to break the highlights. I don't really use the teeth material texture. You can use it though. Just pass it through a Color Correction Node to increase the texture's overall brightness. For the gum material, use the skin shader for the torso material or anything else that has SSS and replace the torso textures with the mouth textures. With SSS it should look good.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Rajib
