can you tell me why my Medium_Scattering has no effect , my octane is Octane_2020.1.5.2_Houdini_18.5.351_vr_Win64 .my houdini is Houdini FX 18.5.351

It is hard to say what could be the problem without more information. Can you please attach an example scene with this issue? Perhaps the problem could even come from the kernel settings.

I have already solved this problem.
I do not change the transmission . so there is no effect of sss.
