Hello,
I am a photographer, and I only produce single images.
In 2016, the ORC could not accept single frame (4GPU max)…
Have you since progressed on the subject ?
Is it possible, now, natively in ORC (like renderman) for a managing render farm which would cut the images and the passes then group them natively?
Otherwise, that it would be the best solution ?
thx
cedric
News for a single image rendering ?

I create 10k images with my graphics cards and would like to outsource the process …
thx for your reply

Hi,
I don't think RNDR has issues with single big frame buffer rendering, like ORC does have, but you can always split the big frame buffer in tiles, render the tiles image sequence, and recompose the big frame buffer in PhotoShop with the following Lua script:

ciao,
Beppe
