Background jpeg Sequence

Hello,
Just want to ask it is normal for my C4D to crash when i make use of a background with c4d material and jpeg sequence and turn on alpha channel.
I am doing this as i am trying to motion track some footage and add some model into it but it seem to cause stability issue in my live viewer when showing the background plane.
