I was hoping there could be a way to autoload OSL maps into octane the way Arnold render is able to do.
With Arnold, I can add value into the Houdini environment file and point it to the folder that contains my osl maps. When I start the software, Arnold converts the osl files into OSO files and then they show up as standard nodes within the material editor.
Could something like that be added to Octane.
