Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a way to use C4d and Octane to make some sort of energy/plasma, or even simple data trails with C4D (no plugins) and Octane. My computer is already crawling so i'm looking for a solution that wont slow down the system that much.
Just to give you an idea of the visual:
* Concentrated data stream thats fluid and art directable
* Preferably using Octanes emissive capabilities
If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.
Plasma or Data trails and Octane

Hi,
without an example/screenshot of the desired effect, I would say Motion-Blur+Post Effect

I understand Beppe, Thanks.
Im working on using an emitter with a tracer object to try and get the effect I want. But I cant get octane to work with the tracer. Any ideas besides using the sub motion blur method?

Hi,
Tracer is producing splines, so you could consider it like hair render, otherwise you need to use the Tracer in a Sweep nurbs, to get some geometry.
