Direct Light stuck in AO mode

i'd like to use DL kernel using Diffuse GI mode but it seems stuck in AO mode.

i try to select Diffuse from the drop down but it stays highlighted blue and the settings panel does not update. the render also stays in AO mode which is not desirable.

is there some other setting i need to change?

using AC24 and plugin 2020.1.5.104

Hi

This is a bug in the plugin, which will be fixed in the next release.

In the meantime, if you need Diffuse mode, you will need to export to Octane Standalone via .ORBX.
