I've spent the past few hours trying to figure out how to install the Octane plugin for C4D R20. The addon is now visible but when I click on the render button I get an error. I tried updating my GeForce and CUDA drivers.
I am new to Octane so it's possible that I'm missing something obvious. I'm also not sure if I'm using the best version of octane for R20.
My computer has a GeForce GTX 1070
16 GB Ram
running windows 10
let me know if any additional information about the PC would help
Octane Plugin for C4D showing CUDA error 999
Hi,
it depends from which version of plugin and Nvidisa driver you have installed.
Please go to c4d menu Script or Extensions/Console, (Shift+F10), and share a complete screenshot of the panel, thanks.
Please, also share a screenshot like this one, that shows both the c4doctane directory opened, and the entire installation path, thanks:

Please, also download and run GPU-Z:

And share a screenshot from the Graphics Card tab, for all the available Nvidia GPUs, thanks:

ciao Beppe
