Can't change out of core settings :\

So, I'm having this strange problem with my main pc.
this one runs on a perpetual V4 and gets memory error messages when I try to render a scene that works perfectly fine on my second pc (subscription).

both computers got 1080TI + 32GB of RAM.

The second pc got out of core RAM usage limit set to 8.
on the first pc - it's stuck on 0. I try to change it to 8 (as it used to be) - but the change won't stick after I click save.

I also tried re-installing the plugin from scratch, and deleted the config.xml file, to no avail. any ideas?

Hi. As per my last response to you via the help desk system....

You could try reversing the plugins - so install the Octane 4 version on your Octane 2020.1 Poser machine and vise-versa. They would then indicate if it's the Octane 4 version of the plugin at fault, or your PC.
