Hello,

im very new to Octane blender, following a course. I have two questions about the camera / rendering:
- Could someone explain to me why the viewport in my render view is swallowing up my model when scrolled out too far?

- How can i render the viewport window with octane render?

I don't think this is a problem with octane, but with the clipping settings of your view or the camera. This video might help: https://youtu.be/6Te8fhpZoiE?t=160

Also out of curiosity, what course are you following? I would be interested in looking into it, as I'm trying to learn octane for blender too ;)
