Hi folks, I am trying to build a material this looks like this image

I have tried various methods but cant seem to nail it. Anyone out there have any pointers?

Interesting, you should try with a Specular material, with Scattering Medium, or Random Walk, in 2020.1 you can use textures to control the absorption/scattering effect.

This is simple to create, just use a specular with scattering medium as bepeg4d is saying. Put an orange shade on the absorption and blue on scattering, then play with the density. This depends strongly on the refractive index and the shape of the object of course, not all objects behave the same, thickness plays a big role. Lots of trial error are needed to adjust IMHO. Also maybe combining with some maps to control it selectively.

Thanks folks for the pointers, I will take a look at Random Walk, never used that before so yeah, will check it out @bepeg4d

And Really Appreciate the those KlaNDah. The lower version in particular defiantly seems to be in the ball park of the effect. I have a tinker and unpload my results.
