Hello, I'm looking to apply motion blur to spline objects with the Octane ObjectTag 'Render as Hair'. I have changed the Object Motion Blur dropdown to both Transform and 'Transform/vertex', but nothing seems to work.

Is there a way to make this work?

To make it work, try using the splines as a sweep object. That works well.

Amazing thank you! I don't know why I didn't try that before.

I am trying to get motion blur on a sweep, but its not working. Other objects in the scene are getting motion blur, but not the sweep. I am animated the growth of the sweep, not the position of the object. Is this possible?

No sorry, motion blur cannot work if the number of vertices is changing during time.
