Whole computer freezes when using Octane

From one day to the next Octane causes my PC to freeze. After i deactivated 50% of my GPUs i still have hard freezes, but a least i dont have to reset the PC. But still: even my mouse is delayed very hard.

There was a windows update at the 14.05.2020. But at the 15.05. i was able to work without any problems. So it can't be the update. Otherwise i did not install anything new. Just startet Octane today and now i cant work anymore. So i can not send any bugreports, since Octane is not crashing. It causes the whole system to freeze, even outside of C4D.

I got the latest studio drivers.

Could really need some help, i can not work on my projects anymore...

Okay, i found it. It was't windows, drivers, hardware etc. It was a simple Octane Material with a displacement node. That material was assigned to a cloner with just a few clones. Very strange.

Doesn't sounds strange if you cause very expensive calculations for gpu
