Hi!
hope you can help me resolve these issues.
I'm new in octane, still learning, after 3 days searching for answers, I couldn't find anything about it.
here you see the problem.
I add noise to my floor material
decreased the light to a minimum
when I start rendering animation everything is fine, after, I don't know 25 frames start banding.
you see that at the bottom looks like some frames are not rendered. ( they are there but with problems)
you can see last frames are fine until the animation is finished, after saving them all with banding issues
here some details
if it needs any other info, just ask, please.
hope you can help me.
this start just recently
I don't make any changes in my way of rendering, so I don't know why this is happening.
waiting for your comments.thanks in advance.
banding light dark enviroment,help please!
Hi,
C4D has a limited memory assigned to Picture Viewer, the green dot indicates that the frame has been loaded in memory, while the gray dot means that it is not.
So, nothing serious, in my opinion.
About the settings, please, always use the Geometry Control set to All Object Movable, instead of Auto, and, most important, don’t save you animated render directly in AVI or MOV or any other movie file format, but always save your frames in PNG or EXR sequence.
ciao Beppe

Yes, if you save directly in a movie format, the frames are compressed during saving, and the quality is lost (banding effect, coloring, and so on).
Save the frame separately to preserve the quality.
