Hi All,
it seems to me is not possible to use real lights in Octane Render.
I've created a real light using real data (IES and Lumen) that show me the correct light distribution and the correct power. But when I use it inside a scene, the result is not correct, as I turn on that light in that space. All around is all black like the light doesn't create global illumination at all.
So is not true that Octane is "realistic" render? Or I'm doing something wrong?

Hi Roy,
please share more info about your experiment.
What are we seeing in the pictures?
What are your references?
Which IES file have you used exactly?
What are the Emitter and Kernel settings used?
Can you share an example scene that shows the issue in .orbx format?
ciao Beppe
