I read that Maxon Cinema 4D GPU Noises: Textures, Volumes, OSL, Vectron and displacements are now in Octane 2020, but is there a way to use these noises in Houdini/Octane ?
Thanks

Ok thanks for this infojuanjgon wrote:As far as I know, the Maxon noises are only available in C4D and in Standalone if the scene is exported from C4D. I'm not sure if this is going to change in the future.

You can use it for my opinion but not sure that's allowed for Houdini.juanjgon wrote:As far as I know, the Maxon noises are only available in C4D and in Standalone if the scene is exported from C4D. I'm not sure if this is going to change in the future.

Hi Guys,
So there are no link at all between C4D noises and the new OSL noises available in octane standalone LiveDB ? Intuitively i though they were the noises created to help translate C4D noise to their OSL counterpart, but it looks that i am wrong ?
So if i want to use those new noise i need to export them in standalone from C4D, get the OSL code, and build my own library ?
Cheers
