Wondering if there’s any reason to invest in an NVLINK bridge with the latest version of Octane.
Performance wise, it will not help until You start working on heavy scenes that would require Out Of Core or NVLINK. the heavier the scene, the wider the gap will be. On small scenes You should not notice any difference. So the question is it worth, depends on Your needs.
I would say that 50-100 makes a lot of sense and would make Your cards usable for longer time. Keep in mind though that RTX/NVLINK are still new features, that will require some polishing later, so You might notice some instabilities when using those.

Most my Octane scenes use 24gb to 40gb of system ram but very little if any out of core texture ram.
