out of nowhere this error started showing up any clue. Besides the memory errors weird thing is, I have an enterprise subscription, so I'm not sure why it's telling me the error a bout the max GPU limits. I'm on the latest stable Maya and Standalone Octanes

CUDA error 719 on device 0: unspecified launch failure
-> failed to wait for event
device 0: path tracing kernel failed
CUDA error 719 on device 1: unspecified launch failure
-> failed to download symbol(stats data)
device 1: path tracing kernel failed
and another one. comeon guys, you're causing me to miss deadlines with this shit.
Why in the world does this just randomly show up out of nowhere. May 2019.2 latest maya plugin, latest Nvidia drivers. This time it's a basic scene with blank diffuse materials and like 10,000 polys.

Unfortunately there is nothing I could do to fix it on the plugin level.JimStar wrote: ...
KNOWN ISSUES:...
- "CUDA error 700" and other CUDA errors are expected to happen from time to time: these are the Octane engine's bugs. Should be fixed with later SDK/Standalone versions...

I've already reported this many-many-many times to the engine team, since long time ago. So they are definitely aware of this. They are just overloaded by a lot of work currently, and these issues are extremely hard to catch...

yeah, once you posted that, I do recall seeing that in the download notes for like the past year. It's just been happening very regularly the past few days-- it's happened on 3 completely different scenes. Thanks for letting me know.
