I am feeding in the Cd attribute into some curves, which I am rendering with "render as fur/hair object" feature. This all works great, until the color value in Cd drops below around 0.02, approaching black. If it goes lower than that the color suddenly turns bright green. Seen in attached images.

This only occurs when rendering as fur. When "render as sphere particles" is checked on the same curve, the black color comes through correctly.

Anyone know what is going on here?

I think that this was a known issue while working with the old packed color on UVs and the .ppm textures. Have you tried the latest 2020.1 plugin build that has native support for point attributes?

In any case, if you can't resolve this issue, you could use an attribute wrangler node to be sure that the color doesn't drop below this 0.02 value.

Thanks,
