Hi, I have this weird new bug where if both "quick update" and "lock update" buttons are switched off, the render runs in crazy loops and never really stops rendering. But if one of those buttons is on, then renders normally. I have the vague idea I've seen this bug before on an early version of octane (like 1.x).
This only seems to happen with forest objects. My forest version is 6.2.1.
The only thing I updated recently was the nvidia drivers from 436.something to the latest "studio" 442.19.
I was using octane 4.05-6.24 and updated to the latest 4.05-6.29 to see if it fixed the issue but had no success.
Tested on both max 2014 and 2017 on Win10 X64.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
endless render with forest
