Hi,
Just curious if there is a 4.05 - R8 version planned. I'm asking as Nvidia driver support for R7 no longer matches my other render engines so Octane no longer works on my machine. R7 runs on 431.86 & I need minimum 436.xx which causes lots of crashes with Octane R7.

You'll need 4.06 for a possible driver support, 4.05-R8 will have same old core. Didn't hear any news for 4.06. But you can use 2018.1 version.

By the way, I have no crashes with v4.05-R7 and 441.66 Studio driver, under Win 10 18362.

Jumped back in today with Octane using the same driver as metioned above but still crashes after about 10 mins, every time. I'm using the offline dongle but don't think that is the issue as the log error is always
CUDA error 2 on device 0: out of memory
-> failed to allocate device array

Very frustrating, as of now I'm unable to rely on my version of Octane any more.

Hi,
please, open the scene, then go to c4doctane Settings/Others tab, and, at the bottom of the panel, enable all the Log option checkboxes:

Then, load the scene in Live View, then in Picture Viewer, or until crash, and share the c4doctanelog.txt file that you find in c4doctane directory, or in the path specified in Settings/Others panel, thanks.

Ok as I could remember you can't get stability with current driver, you need rollback to last stable. I don't think we can do anything to avoid.
