Hi,

I've noticed that if I have a maya scene with a number of cameras in, after exporting to an orbx file and then importing into Octane Standalone, not all the cameras have their film settings node correctly linked up (and the standard top/side don't either).

I post this in the Maya plugin forum as if I do this under Cinema4D, it does populate the film settings correctly.

We have seen this under:
Maya 2019 with Octane plugin 2019.1.5 - 15.14
Maya 2020 with Octane plugin 2020.1 XB3 - 17.7-beta

I've attached an exported orbx test scene here and a screenshot explaining in more detail.

Upon loading the scene, navigate to the cameraShape node, go to the Render Settings section, you can see that the film settings node has "no node" set in the combo.
Click the combo, and the film settings are there in the list (and can be selected) but for whatever reason they are not being set automatically.

Cheers,

Thanks for report. Just fixed it - will be OK in next version.
Please, for the future - open such report-threads in the "Bug Reports" section of Maya forum - I've just accidentally noticed this one here...

Thanks for the quick fix and we'll check out the fix in the new build - please accept my apologies for posting the bug in the wrong area too!

Just to confirm that the fix works for us in 2020.1 RC1 build.
Will you be porting that back to a new 2019 release?

- Simon.

Thanks for the clarification - I thought this might have been the case.
