Immediate Crash with Houdini Daily Builds

Works now with the Production Build only .348

What maximum Daily Build Version may I safely use with Octane 2019? Renderman 23 has no problems with the Daily Builds.

Probably something affecting our plugin has changed in the Houdini daily builds HDK that is breaking our plugin. The plugin should be used only with the Houdini production build matching the plugin version to avoid problems. It is hard to say at what point a daily is going to break the plugin, at this early stage of Houdini 18.0 the HDK changes near each day.

Ok, thanks for your reply. I like the daily builds but I understand that you cannot keep up with how often they are released

That's fair enough and makes sense. I am curious though, considering the production builds only come out every month or less, can we expect an XB3 update for the current build or will that be later?

The Octane XB3 plugin build has been just released including support for H18.0.287 and H18.0.348
