Since i use the latest stable plugin release (C4D-2019_1_5) i have trouble with closing cinema4D correctly. It always freezes that i have to close it with the taskmanager. First i thought its a C4D Problem but after installing Cinema4D R19 on my new Workstation everything went good until i installed and enabled the Octane plugin. It was the first plugin i installed so it has to be octane.
Is this a general bug? Do the developers know about this?
The bug doesnt destroy my workflow but its a bit irritating.

Jeremias

We don't a bug like that. Have you deleted unused plugin dlls else of R19? They can cause problems like this
Octane For Cinema 4D developer / 3d generalist
3930k / 16gb / 780ti + 1070/1080 / psu 1600w / numerous hw
3930k / 16gb / 780ti + 1070/1080 / psu 1600w / numerous hw
Its a new installation on a new system so that shouldnt be the case. If it only happens on my old workstation where i installed many plugins assets and other tools i could understand it.aoktar wrote:We don't a bug like that. That it happened two times in a row seems a bit strange. Maybe i install an older octane plugin version later and report if it keeps crashing.
Why I can't get answer to my question? I mean other dlls under c4doctane dir.
