Hi,
This might be the strangest problem I've come across. For the past several weeks, I suspect after updating to octane 2019 (currently on the latest build), I get errors while trying to render using Deadline with the following:
Error: Unrecognized token: license: (__stickynote1.postitdef) (OP_Node, Intrinsic).
So I deleted all sticky notes from my scene and it works. Now I have another scene where I get the same error but unable to locate any sticky notes through the depths of all the subnetworks and was wondering if this is a known issue before writing some python to cleanup such scenes?
Thanks
Yaniv

UPDATE:
So i've written a little python script to find all stickynotes in the file. There are plenty of stickynotes from sidefx inside HDAs and those are fine, but those that are outside or in unlocked hdas (even unlocked sidefx hdas) seem to trigger this error.

Hmm, and do you say that this happens only when you have the Octane plugin installed? I can't figure out any relation between the notes and the Octane plugin and Deadline ... if this is true and it is related to the Octane plugin, perhaps you should report this issue to SideFX or to the Deadline guys because really I can't imagine that we could have a problem on the plugin side affecting something like that ...

You were right, it seems to be a deadline/houdini issue. I normally only render with Octane but I've disabled the plugin and made a simple Mantra scene with a stickynote and it still errors.
My apologies, I'll contact Thinkbox regarding this issue.
