Hello,

I'm a bit confused about some of the new licensing options. If you're a freelancer/hobbyist and have the standalone V4 version, what is my option to just use the newest blender plugin releases (instead of the free tier?) and at a cost-effective manner.

Is there a time limit on the Blender Free tier that anyone knows of? I'm probably only using 2 video cards at the most.

Just trying to plan ahead but needing to narrow down my options for a good rendering app. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hi,
if you want to use new versions, you can purchase an annual Enterprise subscription update for 199€:
https://render.otoy.com/shop/upgrade.ph ... C67-UGAA1Y.

Then you can use any kind of Octane DCC plugins (including C4D), and also the ORC Octane Render Cloud subscription is included (render credits need to be purchased separately), at the end of the annual maintenance, you will need to purchase another annual extension, or your licenses will go back to v4, without DDC plugins and ORC.

if you want to upgrade also your v4 perpetual licenses to perpetual v2020, the upgrading path is more expensive = 499€:

ciao Beppe
