It looks very good and outside view is perfect for meditation.
Only thing what i'd change is carpet fibers, they seem a bit too tall, looks like 10cm tall or so.

On the rug height, I actually like it, it brings a touch of the outdoors' grass feeling, bringing a rugged into the inner space.
I think to Lewis' point, if you wanted it to look more modern-symmetry, you could lower the height and create the stronger sense of balance.
But if you want to go hippie-psychedelic, longer gives a more natural vibe as is more wild and untamed.
