A/B Comparison mode changes scene lighting when enabled

I've never seen this happen in other versions, but when I use octane version 4.05-R5 in R21 and turn on the A/B comparison option in the live viewer, the stored "B" image immediately becomes brighter, as if the gamma is turned up. I do not change any lighting myself, it just automatically is brighter and makes it difficult to see changes using the comparison mode. Is there a setting I'm missing or is this a bug?

Never mind, I updated to version 4.05-R7 and it is working normally now.
