Hello,
I can't seem to get the background image in my camera to show up in the IPR. I simply need a backplate that isn't distorted.
I tried the OSL projection method, but my image gets distorted and doesn't stay aligned to my camera. Is there a way to have a simple backplate? I feel like I must be missing something because it's so simple in redshift and mantra.

At least work for me, I use in the octane render target, in the camera enviroment, put a Camera enviroment Enable node, then an RT Enviroment texture and then the Texture Image RGB, and with a transform 3d you can adjust the position,
Hope that help

Yes this is badly done in octane , they need to make simple ui for dealing with backplate images.
Osl projection work , but i do not like approach , it must be simple.
Best solution i have is to make plate with backplate dimensions , parent it to camera , than make material with emmisive texture that will be your backplate.
