I've only just started using Octane which is looking great so far in my first few test renders. I've just been given a project that has quartz crystal in it and wondering the best way to go about this? I've quickly tried to just do a specular material with a volume medium, and then plugged a turbulence procedural texture into the scattering/absorption plugs but it doesn't seem to work. Any advice would be much appreciated
