Hello friends,

I am relatively new to Octane and am trying to become proficient for ambient occlusion for architectural interiors. I work with Rhino.
This is how I configure the settings:

Environment = I leave it at daylight (I understand it doesn't matter if this is at Daylight or Texture)
Kernel = Direct Lighting
Global Illumination Mode = Ambient Occlusion
Render Passes = Seems like I should have AO enabled but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I have a model of the interior space that you can see in the attachment.

The image looks like the lights are off and the room is being lit by light pouring in from the outside. Is there any way to remedy this? I inserted point lights in to the lamps but they don't seem to be glowing.

Also my windows have no "glass" in them. Should there be?

Any insight would be appreciated.
