The presence of the dirt shader in this scene causes octane to randomly crash when rendering/adjusting dirt settings with live view. to crash octane just launch the live view and start adjusting the dirt shader settings. enable and disable its channel, stop the live view then restart it. I can reliably kill it within 20 seconds.

I don't think it's a dirt shader bug or so. Do not use game ready drivers, install latest studio driver with clean install and try again.
