A real Fulldome Camera

I create content for domes and planetariums and would love to understand why Octane still does not have a proper Spherical camera, as does Cycles 4d, Redshift, Arnold, and nearly every other render engine I have looked at.

Octane does have a panoramic spherical camera mode, but as far as I can tell it has no way to output a proper fulldome image such as this:

Hi,
Please try the Fisheye mode of the Universal camera from 2019.1 or 2019.2, it should cover this use case. Definitely let us know if something is missing from it for this scenario. The horizontal/vertical offset pins can be used if the projector is off center.
