Hi there,
My first Bug report, because it is getting pretty annoying.
I can’t leave a render over night, because it is crashing after 10-40 rendered Frames.
I can’t send the Scene because it is under NDA.
Cinema 4D R20
Octane 2018.1.3
I am on OSX Version 10.13.6
64 GB Ram
1x GTX 980Ti
2x GTX 1080Ti
Render Slave on Windows 10
16GB Ram
3x RTX 2080
Both are using out of Core 6GB although the scene isn’t exceeding 8 GB.
Please Help!
Several Scenes with the same Bug

Hi,
please, open a scene, then go to c4doctane Settings/Others tab, and, at the bottom of the panel, enable all the Log option checkboxes:

Then, load the scene in Live View, then in Picture Viewer until crash, and finally share the c4doctanelog.txt file that you find in c4doctane directory, or in the path specified in Settings/Others panel, thanks.
ciao Beppe

It doesn't seems like a bug for plugin. It's crashing at the renderer. So check your free Vram and ram during render session. And record a log as beppe said. We can't help much if you're under NDA.

I did as you said.
1. the scene in LV is around 5GB only.
2. when starting PV render, it stays at around 5GB
3. after 5 Frames it crashed again.
there are some cloners in the scene. some on render instance and some not.
attached is the octane Log.
the Error Window before the crash, says.
liboctane.dylib crashed.

Flags are saved to scenes not a general preference, be careful for this.Powel2097 wrote:I did, but it is switching itself off, all the time.
