I've never tried Blender Camera Tracking.
So before I start, I'd like to know if it works the same way in Octane and Cycles?
E.g. can you learn the basics from Cycles tutorials and then 'translate' it into Octane -- or does Camera Tracking work substantially differently with different render engines?
Does Camera Tracking work as expected with Octane?

Latest OctaneRender for Blender. Windows 10, i7 quad 3.7GHz, 16GB, 2xTitan.
Camera tracking is independent of rendering engine. It doesn't need Cycles or any other engines. The tutorials may be based on Cycles but only final part where rendering of the tracked scene is involved.

Great -- thank you very much, J.C!J.C wrote:Camera tracking is independent of rendering engine. It doesn't need Cycles or any other engines. The tutorials may be based on Cycles but only final part where rendering of the tracked scene is involved.
Camera Tracking seems a bit complicated, so I just wanted to be sure that it works with Octane before I start.
