Akk,,
This continues to frustrate:
Cannot toggle visibility off during an animation.
Even removing an object from the camera view is not working. The object still renders!!!!
With the attached file, I have included 3 rendered frames of a single object.
Starting at frame 5, the object is visible and within the camera view.
In frame 6 and 7 Visibility is toggled off in all available toggles, both Blender and Octane, AND, the object is moved out of view.
but it still renders!!!
The only way I can not have the object render is to start the render on frame 6.
This is no way to animate.
Please help.
This has been going on for quite a while.
I am happy to upgrade if that will fix the problem. This has been going on since I started with Blender Octane, 2018.

Your file works fine. Object is not rendered when the Octane visibility is turned off or when object is moved out of camera view.

Hi JC,
Thank you for the quick look and response. Much appreciated.
I have been too busy to update, but will this weekend.
To confirm: you rendered the file as an animation, starting with the object visible correct? As opposed to rendering still images one at a time.
Thank you,
Rick

Hi!
It seems to work fine here (17.9).
Also disable the location animation and the "Render visibility" worked fine on it's own!
