A. win10 pro
B. 4xAsus turbo 2080ti
C. 128GB
D. Nvidia Creator Ready Driver 419.67
E. OctaneRender Standalone version 4.02.1
F. OctaneRender plugin version 4.02.1-R3
G. Cinema 4d R19

I got my new machine month ago. When I click render button the system frozen and crashed. Most time I can't even move my cursor but reboot. It happens with Nvidia drivers from 417 to the latest version and all Octane v4 builds.

I have tried lots of suggestions like using DDU or changing the timeout with the TdrDelay key but didn't help.

Additionally my rig is:
CPU:AMD 2990wx
Motherboard:Asus x399 zenith extreme
RAM:8xG.SKILL 16GB 3000mhz
Graphics Card:4xAsus turbo 2080ti
PSU:Corsair AX1600i

Because some friends think the issue is caused by the hardware. But there is no risk factor of my hardware system.I have disabled all the overload options.Cooling system works fine to controling the GPU temperature around 75℃ when using other GPU render.

Finally i hear some voice about the Nvidia‘s ddr6 memory. It is the issue about Micron’s memory but who knows?Or i think you developers should let Nvidia to know about this.

This is most likely not a bug for us. More likely a hardware problem.
Could you please update your driver? Also try to disable some gpus for testing?

I have tried the lastest Gameready and Creatorready drivers but didn't help.
I can use all GPUs with redshift and Octane benchmark is fine.So it seems not simply hardware problem.

Thanks for your reply in my thread.

Did you try Octane Bench with all cards seperatly? I get like 300 points on the first, second and third card, but the 4th card has much lower score (around 150-250 OB).
Not a solution jetz, but I can render with 3 cards without crashes and I can get 900 octane bench with the first three cards (list sort in octane bench and msi afterburner, windows list has an other order of the 4 cards).

Hi,
please use OctaneBench 4.00c for your tests, to have more comparable results:

Also check with GPU-Z the GPUs sensors while rendering.
ciao Beppe
