Hello,

Need help on this case.
I have a tree and I'd like to make some color variations in the leaves (leaves are no replicas of course). Tree and leaves are one item.
So, how to do that in Octane? No success by myself!

Thanks a lot for your help

I suggest varying the leaf color with the Noise node, or other texture generators (like Turbulance).

Hi Paul,
Thanks a lot for your reply!
I will try that.

In Modo, by using a "Variation texture" node, it's possible to modify color or value on non replicas objects by choosing "Meshpart" .
Something similar maybe in Octane in a short futur?

I doubt it. I suggest going with the Octane provided nodes.
