I am very interested in using Octane for Unreal. I know it is under development currently. Is it expected to be released soon? The marketing material suggests it would be released around Q1 2019.
Maybe they are waiting on 2019 XB2?
I'm with you, this is the closest we have ever been to actually using it...
I WANT IT NOW!

I think I read somewhere that Unreal was going to offer native support for 2 GPUs in the near future. Have you heard this? If so, I wonder how Otoy will respond? Octane for Unity has a 2 GPU limit under the All Access License. I hope they will offer support for up to 4 GPUs.
soo.. any new on this, I mean ok UE 4.22 still is very buggy with the dx12/raytracing and rtx cards - I get freezes after a few seconds.. it's gonna take another version or three to get all of this going - probably from this octane beta as well.. but still, just throw any new around this, I'm interested in how it's gonna be developed and what we could expect out of octane
- mainly, is it going to be possible to dump our entire .orbx scene in UE so it uses the materials and all of that natively, like datasmith, but for octane? That's basically what I'd like to see first
