So.... clearly this plugin never became exceedingly popular.

I'd like to think there might be an opportunity to release something that could compete with Element 3D inside of AE instead of just trying to be an Orbx loader and the base render engine.

Also, are the current versions for AE based on Octane 3? Is there any plan to continue development on this plugin or should I simply not get my hopes up? I understand Aoktar is the dev for this plugin as well as for Cinema 4D and I know C4D has a much more active user-base than after effects does. Are you guys looking for someone to develop for After Effects?

Just a collection of shower thoughts.

I suspect the reason it is not “popular” is because the only version available was released in August 2017 for After Effects 2017.

Any news on a functioning updated AE Octane Plugin for CC 2019 would be greatly appreciated!
