local database question

Hi Simon,
I am trying to find info on how to save a material to the Octane Carrara local data base, to then gain access to the material in Octane Blender.
Can you point me in the right direction?

You cannot save an octane material into Local DB using Carrara. You need to export your project first, load it into the standalone and then save your materials from there.
