Hey,

I downloaded Octane 4 demo version to test because I'm interested in buying it. But I have troubles with rendering pretty simple scene.
I'm afraid the same error will occur when I buy full ver of it and I won't be able to work... :roll:
My gpu is GTX 1060 (6gb) and I have lasted nVidia drivers installed.

Here is what I get:

My LOG:

Code: Select all

CUDA error 999 on device 0: unknown error
  -> failed to link file
device 0: failed to load OSL shader code:
error : Multiple definition of 'cuSptStatistics' in 'cuda_texturenode', first defined in 'snippets_internal'
device 0: failed to compile module 0
What's wrong?

Hi godink,
please install [417.71 Nvidia drivers (win10)](https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverR ... 1906/en-us) or [417.71 Nvidia drivers (win7)](https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverR ... 1904/en-us).
To get an effective Nvidia drivers installed, please use [DDU Nvidia unistaller drivers](http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/dis ... nload.html), the best way to get a clean installation.
