Whenever (or rather every time) I open the LiveDB it has to log in and initialize/load and then it closes when I double-click to import a texture.
Everything works fine as far as loading and import, but the "browser" closes as soon as I double-click. Its not a huge delay but it seems like a totally unnecessary one, especially since it already keeps a local copy of the texture previews.
Not such a big deal if I only want one texture but even if I only want two or three it gets very frustrating very quickly!
Is this an issue with my system, a general problem with v4, or a "feature"?
-Thanks
LiveDB closes after each import

I think for now it's a feature. It behaves the same on my end at least.
On that note, I too wouldn't mind if the Live DB wouldn't close automatically. As Vand3r mentioned, if you like to apply several textures at once, or just try out a couple of different ones and see how they work, it would be helpful if the window wouldn't auto-close.
Or, if possible, it could cache the results so you don't have to navigate where you've been last.

I am currently looking at using the Octane Standalone LiveDb/LocalDb import panel, which would not close between imports. However it is a fair way off being ready for inclusion in a release. But hopefully one day it will be robust enough to replace the current LiveDb window.
