Hello,
I am trying to sync my DayLight to my HDRI. So I rotated my light until it lined up with the sun of HDRI map.
I parented it to the Sky map object I synced it up perfectly, however, the more I rotatate the sky the more the sun looses its alignment and you start to see two suns again? The light seems to rotate at a faster rate than the HDRI.
NOTE: This only works if I restrict the rotation on the Y axis. When I rotate X, it looses sync.
This should not happen correct?

You need to tie the rotation of those light objects via Xpresso. I did it via H-coordinates of objects and not via north offset value in tags.
Example:
Example:
Master: WIN 10 64bit, i7 4930 4,5 Ghz, 64 GB RAM, 1600 W PSU, 1 TB SSD, 14 TB RAID, 2 x RTX 3090
Thanks! But could you translate those nodes?Ron wrote:You need to tie the rotation of those light objects via Xpresso. I did it via H-coordinates of objects and not via north offset value in tags.

Winkel. H = ?
I tried translating it but could not come up with anything other than "Corner".
I figured out the rest, I think.

Winkel means Angle. It's the Rotation H.
I have attached my little solution that is doing the job for me. Maybe it is helpful for you or someone else.
I am using mostly HDRI from Darstellungsart where the sun is 180° opposite of daylight. In other cases the rotation H of the daylight needs to be adjusted accordingly.
