and I wanted to know what would work best for octane and for downloading drivers (I believe).
EVGA - GeForce 6200 512MB DDR2 AGP Graphics Card
PNY - GeForce 210 1GB DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 Graphics Card
Galaxy - NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS 512MB DDR2 PCI Express Graphics Card
Galaxy - GeForce GT 520 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 Graphics Card
or PNY - GeForce GTX 550Ti 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express Graphics Card.

If you know any cheap ones do tell :). Thank you for the help so far by the way, it's very much appreciated.

When it comes to GPUs for Octane, the general rule is that you get what you pay for. The reason is that there huge differences between the various GPU generations and models. From the list above only the GTX 550 starts to make fun. Getting a GTX 560 will improve things even more.
