Trouble Updating Materials in Viewer

I'm having trouble getting my materials to update in the material section. The one updated material in the attached picture is a C4D material. I haven't been able to get any to update since upgrading to R20. Here are my specs: Core i9-8950HK 2.90GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, 32 GB RAM, Windows 10, Octane 4.00 Cinema 4D.

What's up with material previews option from LiveViewer/options menu?
