HI guys,

Is there a way to render out normal pass like vray normal colour ? octane render looks very weird to other software normal passes
please see screen shot

vraynormal pass / and all other software render normal pass look this one

Hi Jim99,
I think your issue depends on your Gamma setting.

HI Paride,

Thanks for your quick reply, I have double check on my max gamma setting its set to 2.2 gamma but the render still doesnt come out
like yours do, could you screen your setting please ? I have tried tone map in octane its doesn't right either

Hi Paride,


It seems my octane still have issue rendering out normal pass like yours, I have check all settings. Please help
could it be my version of octane 6.10?
